Assemian Faustin Kouakou

Assemian Faustin Kouakou is the Managing Partner of Ofori Law Africa LLP. Specializing in M&A, Private Equity, Capital Markets, and Competition Law, he advises on all corporate law matters for a clientele composed of financial institutions, investment funds, fintech companies, and insurance groups on corporate, regulatory, and transactional matters, with expertise in OHADA law and competition law.

With a career deeply rooted in the economic dynamics of Francophone Africa, he previously served as Managing Partner of the Ivorian office of Bennani & Associés where he actively contributed to the firm’s regional expansion across the OHADA space.

He also headed the legal department of NSIA Participations Holdings Group, an Ivorian banking, insurance, and capital markets group operating in 12 countries
