Energy, Infrastructure
& Natural Resources
The energy, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors are at the heart of Africa’s economic transformation. Ofori Law Africa LLP advises sponsors, investors, lenders, project developers, and public sector entities on the structuring, financing, and implementation of strategic projects across the continent.
We support our clients from the earliest stages of project development, helping to secure projects from both a legal and regulatory perspective, including through the obtaining of the necessary licences, permits, concessions and regulatory approvals. We also advise on project finance and structured finance transactions, including public-private partnerships (PPPs), blended finance structures, concession agreements and long-term offtake arrangements.
Our expertise further extends to joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and investments in regulated industries, covering all stages of a transaction from structuring and due diligence to negotiation and completion. We also assist clients with compliance matters, regulatory risk management and interactions with regulatory authorities and other standard-setting and compliance institutions.
